Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and manage related side effects, including acute tumor lysis syndrome and extravasation injury.
Coordinate care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant and manage complications such as graft-versus-host disease.
Manage central lines, including PICC and implanted line care, ensuring appropriate monitoring and maintenance.
Administer medications such as antiemetics, corticosteroids, and hormonal therapies as part of oncology treatment plans.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
Float to other UCSF facilities as needed to support staffing needs and patient care.

Qualifications

Active California RN License and BSN degree required.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification required; OCN certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience, including BMT experience.
Experience with Epic charting system required.
COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required, with medical/religious exemptions considered.
