Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced care for neonates in the NICU, including patients with CPAP/HFNC/RAM.
- Handle a patient ratio of 1:3 in the stepdown NICU unit.
- Utilize telemetry to monitor and support vulnerable infants effectively.
- Administer IV drugs, blood products, and manage central lines.
- Support breastfeeding mothers and manage neonatal nutrition needs.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and perform neonatal sepsis work-ups.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with required BLS and NRP certifications.
- Minimum 3 years NICU experience with expertise in Neonatal II and III skills.
- Proficiency in using Cerner for charting and documentation.
- Strong skills in administering anti-seizure medications and antiviral therapies.
- Experience in patient/family education and developmental care.
- Proven ability to manage IV therapy and neonatal dosage calculations.
