Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in providing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess and address complex psychological and social needs of patients and families.
• Provide patient education, identifying learning needs and resources.
• Meet expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies; manage assignments and delegate to other care providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN License in state of employment or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have CVOR and EPIC charting experience, minimum two years.
• Ability to support both cardiovascular (open-heart) cases and general OR as needed.
