Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in Cardiovascular Intensive Care to support patient care and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Manage care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients including CABGs, valve repairs, and transplants
Utilize circulatory assist devices such as LVAD, RVAD, ECMO, and IABP
Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive IV medications
Provide patient-centered care with a focus on recovery for thoracic and vascular surgeries
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including IV teams and respiratory services
Ensure compliance with all protocols and safety standards in a Level I Trauma facility

Qualifications

Must have CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level I facility
Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
Valid RN license in Virginia or compact state
EPIC charting experience required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
BSN preferred; willing to consider surgical trauma ICU nurses with strong related experience
