Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to ICU patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, and DKA.
• Interpret EKG strips and manage ventilators efficiently.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists for comprehensive patient care.
• Rotational holiday work as part of core staff requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR system.
• Participate in bedside report and floor-specific orientations.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license with ICU experience.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS preferred.
• Ability to pass and provide proof of a Dysrhythmia Exam through Relias.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with tele-med robots and a horseshoe layout unit preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to varying patient populations and swing bed capacity.
