Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for neonates in a Level III NICU environment.
- Administer medications including anti-seizure medications, antibiotics, and surfactants.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for respiratory, radiology, and social services support.
- Perform procedures such as APGAR scoring and umbilical line care.
- Support high-risk deliveries and manage neonatal emergencies efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- 2 years of NICU experience required, with at least 1 year in Level III NICU.
- Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- Experience with Epic charting system and advanced neonatal care skills.
- Ability to manage central lines and perform spinal taps and intubations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and patient care skills.
- Willingness to work weekends as necessary to meet unit needs.
