Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapy/Dietary Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for acute and chronic disorders.
- Implement infection prevention strategies to ensure patient safety.
- Develop and execute functional activity programs for patients.
- Manage billing processes effectively within the facility.
- Perform detailed fall and risk assessments as part of patient evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience with Epic charting system required.
- Capability to work with adult and geriatric populations.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends.
- Ability to float between like units if required by the facility.
