Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Rehab Supervisor and Manager of Rehabilitation Services. Provides Occupational Therapy interventions to patients per referral, including assessment, care planning, educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, progress, and prognosis. Responsibilities include scheduling, recording treatment information, and issuing appropriate adaptive equipment. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• California Occupational Therapy license
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification as per American Heart Association standards
• Minimum of 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience
• At least 1 year of NICU experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in instructing and evaluating therapy students
• Experience in coordinating with CCS Case Managers

• Regularly assumes duties of Charge Therapist
• Adheres to established hospital safety standards
• Coordinates with CCS Case Managers for referrals to CCS panel providers or CCS Medical Therapy Units
