Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient care to an average of 25 patients per day in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 based on acuity, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
• Collaborate with techs and support staff to assist in triage and maintain smooth unit operations.
• Perform point of care lab testing and manage standard ER medication drips.
• Ensure compliance with EPIC charting and complete all assigned documentation accurately.
• Adapt to variable scheduling needs, including every other weekend shifts and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado or capability to obtain prior to assignment start.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required.
• Experience in acute care settings, preferably in emergency rooms.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry without the assistance of monitor techs.
• Flexibility to float within region/zone's ERs as needed.
