Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor and assess fetal and maternal well-being using Obix fetal monitoring.
- Coordinate and manage C-sections, including scrub, recovery, and circulating duties.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including perinatology support, for high-risk pregnancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation through Cerner EMR system.
- Comply with hospital protocols and assist in postpartum care if needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably with travel experience.
- Current RN license and authorization to practice in the state of California.
- BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Adv-AWHONN certifications required.
- Proficient in using Cerner EMR system.
- Experience with managing care for patients from 23 weeks gestation and managing high-risk patients.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
