Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pre-Op/Post-Op/Same Day Surgery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in pre-op, post-op, and same-day surgery settings.
• Foster a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all surgical procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure all procedural protocols and safety standards are followed during surgeries.
• Coordinate effectively with the surgical team and supporting medical staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including 5 weekdays and 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required at time of application.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute or outpatient experience, including general surgery.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS required.
• Experience with pediatric patients; adult patients on rare occasions.
• Strong ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
