Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized obstetric care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Assist with cesarean sections and circulate in operating rooms as needed.
• Manage postpartum care and provide support for breastfeeding and infant care.
• Administer medications and conduct assessments, ensuring proper documentation using Epic charting system.
• Float between departments as required to meet facility needs, ensuring patient ratios are maintained.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license with at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience.
• Certification in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Experience working in a culturally diverse and high-risk obstetric environment.
• Competency in circulating for C-sections and performing postpartum assessments.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system and ability to float as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
