Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with labor and delivery, including circulating in C-section ORs.
- Administer and titrate necessary medications such as oxytocin and magnesium sulfate.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and manage care based on patient assessments.
- Provide postpartum support including floating to postpartum units as needed.
- Participate in patient education regarding postnatal care and discharge instructions.
- Maintain documentation and manage patient records using EPIC systems.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with eligibility to work in Colorado.
- At least 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery; high-risk L&D experience preferred.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting fetal monitoring strips independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.
