Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the ICU using an extensively equipped medical setup.
• Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and administer appropriate care and medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to formulate and update patient care plans.
• Operate and maintain critical care equipment, including ventilators and dialysis machines.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse system.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and ICU-specific protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing license in the state of Virginia.
• 1-2 years of experience in ICU settings.
• Advanced certification in ACLS and proficient with intubation and line placement.
• Familiarity with handling equipment such as ventilators and Baxter pumps.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and float according to unit needs.
• Willingness to work 36 hours per week, including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.
