Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, Baxter pumps, EVD, and ventilator equipment.
• Float to comparable units while maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
• Provide primary nursing care and collaborate with unit secretaries and techs as needed.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech Expanse system.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including intubation, central line, and EVD placements.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required.
• Advanced skills including ACLS, intubation, and line placement.
• Proficient in using Meditech Expanse documentation system.
• Available to work 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.
• Ability to comply with facility policies and professional standards.
