Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for maternal and neonatal patients, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Administer and monitor medications including magnesium sulfate therapy and insulin drips.
• Conduct assessments such as APGAR scores, newborn hypoglycemia, and recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Facilitate patient and family education regarding breastfeeding, car seat usage, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to other units as needed, such as Mother/Baby and Level 1 Nursery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting systems.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in Wisconsin - must be verified and in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery settings.
• Certification in BLS and NRP required; ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system and baby-friendly protocols.
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and one holiday, with potential for floating assignments.
• Experience with antepartum, triage, and Level 1 Nursery settings.
