Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in NICU and other assigned units.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation when needed.
- Evaluate, access, and treat patients using RCP protocols.
- Operate various ventilators and respiratory care equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Document patient care in the Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- Current RRT certification and valid CA Respiratory Care license.
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience preferred.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
- Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to float to affiliated hospitals as required.
