Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with diverse diagnoses including oncology, hematology, and general medical conditions.
• Administer and titrate medications such as insulin, heparin, and various drips, ensuring effective patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with charge nurse and house supervisor to manage patient assignments effectively.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting using the Cerner charting system.
• Facilitate continuous communication with tele techs and other healthcare professionals for optimal monitoring and care delivery.
• Adapt to floating requirements within med-surg departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, AHA preferred.
• Acute care experience with a comfort in managing complex patients.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
