Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse MedSurg patient population, including post-operative and oncology patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient telemetry using Phillips monitors, and respond effectively to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per facility protocols, including Heparin drip titration.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNA staff, and interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans.
• Participate in facility's weekend and holiday rotation with permanent staff.
• Adhere to facility policies including a "50 mile radius rule" and maintain compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license for the state of West Virginia.
• Valid BLS certification; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification is a plus.
• Experience with post-operative, oncology, and chest tube management in a MedSurg setting.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Maintain professional appearance adhering to a dress code of royal blue scrubs.
