Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 4 L&D and 7 postpartum beds
- Titrate and manage drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and others
- Operate and troubleshoot neonatal ventilation equipment including CPAP and BiPAP
- Ensure compliance with AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections to manage the newborn
- Support floating to MSP/ED, primarily for patient observation
Qualifications
- Active RN License to submit
- 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience with MEDITECH charting systems
- Ability to work every third weekend and float as needed
- Strong teamwork, independence, and communication skills
