Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to ICU patients following nursing protocols and standards.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to detect any irregular cardiac patterns.
• Administer medications and treatment plans accurately under physician direction.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams to manage patient needs.
• Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using the Cerner EMR system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing; BSN preferred but not required.
• Experience with fresh open heart surgeries and mixed ICU patients required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Proficiency with GE monitors and ability to operate mechanical ventilators.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to float as needed.
