Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to laboring mothers, ensuring comfort and clinical safety.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and uterine contractions, collaborating with healthcare teams as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of cesarean section procedures.
• Float between L&D and postpartum units, assisting where needed based on patient care needs.
• Coordinate postnatal care for mothers and infants, including breastfeeding support.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring with AWHONN intermediate or advanced certification.
• Experience circulating in cesarean sections is required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
