Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - ER to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages in a busy Level 3 Trauma Center.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Adapt to fluctuating census and patient ratios, overseeing up to 1:5 patient assignments.
Administer medications using the Pyxis Medication System and conduct EKGs and IV starts.
Ensure strict adherence to unit protocols, including care for psychiatric and COVID patients.
Utilize EPIC documentation system efficiently with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

Active NY RN license or proof of application submission upon hire.
Minimum of 1-year ER experience in a similar high-acuity setting.
Proficient with EPIC system within the last two years is mandatory.
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or proof of current certification completion.
Strong adaptability to high patient volumes and variable shift patterns.
Preferred experience with prior travel and charge nurse assignments.
