Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with acute coronary syndrome and cardiac conditions.
- Administer and titrate cardiac, insulin, and other critical drips.
- Perform post-cardiac catheterization care, including sheath maintenance.
- Float to appropriate units as part of the Resource Float team as needed.
- Document patient care and treatment accurately using EPIC systems.
- Provide support during thrombolytic therapy and advanced monitoring for drug toxicity.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York, or proof of application.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS certification prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of tele experience required.
- Proficiency in EPIC with experience from the past 2 years required.
- Ability to float between units and work every other weekend as necessary.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
