Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging, CT Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as requested by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment correctly, ensuring regular maintenance and care to avoid technical issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and report scan results accurately and discuss complex cases.
• Prepare and administer contrast media following safety protocols and monitor patient reactions.
• Participate in quality assurance procedures to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce radiation exposure.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards for radiation safety and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (ARRT-CT, ARRT-R) required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Illinois state license required.
• Proficiency in performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head CT scans with and without contrast.
• Experience with Level I Trauma environments and comprehensive understanding of acute care.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering and post-processing techniques in CT imaging.
