Provide compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients who may have chemical, electrical, scald or thermal burns and/or complex wounds in the critical care setting. Be part of a Level One Trauma Center and Wisconsin s only ACS-verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center! Only verified pediatric and adult burn center in state of Wisconsin. Travelers may be assigned to burn patients, but would not be asked to perform burn cares. Special Equipment : ICU experience required. No burn experience necessary. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. #Tier3 Travel Compliance RTO Requirements : Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). Floating : Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract. This is a hard requirement. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule.
