ID: 63275488 Shift: Day shifts Description: We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and highly skilled Mammoth Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for occupational therapy treatment, formulation of a treatment plan and goals, and administration of the occupational therapy treatments. The Occupational Therapist shall be active in outpatient services and shall interact with all hospital departments and medical staff.What you'll do:1:1 patient care with one 45 min appointment every hourPerforms appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient s diagnosis.Sets measurable goals and functional outcomes based on the evaluation with input from the physician, patient, and family members as appropriate.Develops a logical treatment program based on the assessment.Reassesses and revises the treatment plan as necessary, at the minimum every 6 weeks.Performs occupational therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis.Demonstrates use of physical modalities appropriate to the diagnosis.Documents progress reports for patients seen for multiple occupational therapy visits in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement.Who you are:Enjoy working with people and thrive in a social atmosphereEager to motivate, goal-oriented, able to stay positive and patientA good listener and astute observerTeam collaborator and contributorQualifications:Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy and a licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of California.Outpatient and hand based therapy experience preferred. Additional Information:We can provide dorm-style housing (depending on availability) in completely self-sufficient apartments for a monthly cost. The rental cost depends on the size of the dorm. The one-bedrooms include a kitchen/living area with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and flat-screen tv. They also have separate bedroom with a full size bed, a desk, bathroom with shower/tub, and a wardrobe. Each studio has a kitchenette with a smaller refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, full-size bed, desk, wardrobe, flat-screen television, and bathroom. All apartments are furnished with living area furniture and counter stools. There is wi-fi and cable throughout the apartments. Amenities at the apartments: pool, ping-pong, or foosball in our great common area, hang out on couches next to the fireplace, or use state-of-the-art equipment in our weight room.
