Specialty populations cared for on the unit include patients with a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post lung transplant. 29 beds unitGen Care (ratio 1:4)IMC (ratio 1:2) Special Procedures/Unit Details : We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN): Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients in an academic medical and Level 1 Trauma Center. Join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for both general care and IMC level patients in a 26-bed step down unit, where critical thinking and team work is a must. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
