Care for adult patients with a variety of neurology, neurosurgical and stroke conditions that can include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, cerebral aneurysm, and other neurovascular diseases. Utilize strong critical thinking skills and provide interventions that may include vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, feeding tubes, drains, frequent assessments, and more. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
