Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered. **Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6** Must have the following requirements:EPIC experience Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment BLS, NIH required, ACLS preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips IV Start Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred Travel experience preferred Floating and Other Requirements: Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to. If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives. Unit Details:Advanced Care Unit: Typical patients are heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post -procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal. RN s must be competent to run IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, cardizem, etc. Daily average census: 31 Navy Blue ScrubsRTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
