They start I.V.'s, sign consent with the patient, give ordered pre procedure medications as well as go through Novant's EPIC questioner. PRE/POST Cath lab/EP/IR RN; OUTPATIENT SURGERYSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Manage cath/EP and radiology patients post procedure.Manage access sites, both arterial and venous, both femoral and radial. This includes radial compression bands, femoral closure devices, venous sutures and pulling femoral sheaths.Cath patients - same day discharges of patients who are post PCI, so they will need to know DTAP and post cath care in that capacity. Special Equipment : PRE/POST Cath lab/EP/IR RN #Tier2 Travel Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process : All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details : Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles) : Lower rate applies. RTO : Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs : Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting : See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules : Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours.
