Supplemental Health Care is seeking skilled Radiation Therapists to fill a contract opportunity at a partnering Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T).Active state license, if required by South Carolina.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
Radiation Therapist Contract Details:
- $2,200 - $2,428 per week
- 13-week contract, with possibility of extension40 hours per week
- Hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
