Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Kansas City, Kansas, to hire school nurses. Qualifications:

  • Kansas LPN License
  • American Heart Association BLSMinimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting

School Health Office LPN Contract Details:

  • $25.60 - $27.55 per hour
  • Schedule follows the school district calendar
  • Nurse will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
  • Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services
  • Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
  • Promoting education and wellness initiatives
