Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioners for contract assignments at a partnering correctional facility in Lima, Ohio.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:

$60-$70 per hour
13-week contract with possibility of extension
Comfortable with an all male incarcerated inmate population
Patient volume is on average around 12-20 per day
Providing wellness checks, treating acute and chronic diagnoses
Comfortable in highly regulated and protocol-forward environment
Will provide care within their scope of practice and in accordance with the standards of the facility

Qualifications:

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
BLS
DEA in Ohio
Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience
Board Certified/ Board Eligible
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
Corrections experience preferred
