Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Physicists for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physics or another natural science
Master's Degree in Physics, Medical Physics, or a related field
Current Medical Physicist Certification in Georgia
BLSExperience: Minimum 1-year as a Physicist
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel

Medical Physicist Contract Details:

$4,220 - $4,481 per week*
12-week contract with possibility of extension
Hospital
Medical Physicists will plan radiation treatments for cancer patients
Medical Physicists will study how radiation affects the body
Medical Physicists may be asked to develop new safety procedures, ensure equipment is safe, effective and working properly, and research new treatment options for cancer, heart disease, or mental illness.
