Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) for contract assignments at a partnering correctional facility in the heart of Missoula, Montana.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:
-$80-$90 per hour
-16-week contracts with a high possibility of extending long-term if a good fit.
-Day Shift
-No nights, weekends, or holidays
-Conducts routine and emergency medical care for inmates, including chronic care clinics, infirmary rounds, and emergency treatment on-site.
-Adheres to established policies and procedures for medical care, including documentation in SOAP format, adherence to formulary regimens, and utilizing available in-house resources for treatment.
-Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual judgments and actions, while also reporting any concerns or questions to the Medical Director or Health Services Administrator.
-Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with accepted practices for incarcerated individuals.

Qualifications:
-Current RN and NP license in Montana
-Board Certified in Family or Adult Medicine
-BLS
-DEA in Montana
-Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience is a must!
-Board Certified
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
-Correctional experience preferred
