Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a Social Worker to work at a school located in Chicago, Illinois.

Social Worker Contract Details:

$50.05 - $53.90 per hour
17-week contracts
Social Worker will be promoting the general well-being of students
Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
Offering mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Master’s Degree in Social work
Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license must meet position requirements.
Previous pediatric experience preferred
