Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Aubrey, Texas, to hire a 1:1 school nurse for a medically complex student. Qualifications:
- Texas RN or LPN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Minimum of year of recent PEDS Trach/vent experience
Contract Details:
- $38.55 - $41.50 per hour
- 8 hours per day | Wednesdays and select Mondays
- School bus support from student's house
- Student is high school age and verbal
- Student has trach and changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
- Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services
- Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
- Promoting education and wellness initiatives
