Description

Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Washington, District of Columbia. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and capturing high-quality imaging studies for physicians.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required
  • State licensure (if applicable)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
  • Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus

Nuclear Med Tech Contract Details:

  • $2,460 - $2,757 per week* estimated weekly
  • 13 weeks, with possibility to extend
  • Hospital setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
  • Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information
