Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated neurology team, using advanced technology to monitor and evaluate patients’ brain activity, helping to diagnose and guide treatment for neurological conditions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic program (or equivalent training/experience)
• Current certification or registry with ABRET (R. EEG T.) preferred
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of EEG experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Neurodiagnostic / EEG Tech Contract Details:

• $1,240 - $1,344 per week* Estimated weekly
• Location - Edison, New Jersey
• Setting - Hospital
• 37 week contract, with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized EEG recordings on patients of all ages
• Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot EEG equipment
• Recognize, record, and alert medical staff to significant patient events
• Assist physicians in the interpretation of EEG results
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
