Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has been partnering with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners for more than 30 years. We’re now seeking PMHNP Nurse Practitioners for openings at a Behavioral Health Clinic in Brockton, Massachusetts. Our goal is to help open a range of options for all healthcare professionals working with us so they can choose the assignments that fit their goals and lifestyle best.

Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in inpatient psychiatry

• Must be Inpatient-Inclusive, non-stigmatizing attitudes and approach-Board certification required in Psychiatric Mental Health

-PMHNP certification

-BLS from AHA-Licensed or able to obtain a license in the State of Massachusetts, including controlled substance license (DEA).

-Passion for excellence in clinical care-Experience working with vulnerable population, homelessness, substance abuse.

Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:

• $100-$100 per hour
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• Various shifts available (Day)/PRN/Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm

-12-13 patients daily

-Provide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients including prescribing medications and/or other psychotherapeutic interventions.

-Provide treatment either independently or with physician supervision in accordance with Massachusetts regulations.

-Develop treatment plans, measure progress against the plans, and make adjustments as needed.

-Provide crisis intervention as needed.

-Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

-Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists to assess and adjust treatment plans.

-Coordinate and communicate with case managers, family members and other stakeholders regarding treatment and care.
