Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Winston-salem, North Carolina. In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated neurology team, using advanced technology to monitor and evaluate patients’ brain activity, helping to diagnose and guide treatment for neurological conditions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited EEG/Neurodiagnostic program (or equivalent training/experience)
- Current certification or registry with ABRET (R. EEG T.) preferred
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of EEG experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Neurodiagnostic / EEG Tech Contract Details:
- $1,854 - $2,020 per week* Estimated weekly
- Location - Winston-salem, North Carolina
- Setting - Hospital
- 17 week contract, with possibility to extend
- 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized EEG recordings on patients of all ages
- Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot EEG equipment
- Recognize, record, and alert medical staff to significant patient events
- Assist physicians in the interpretation of EEG results
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
