Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Physicist for hospital contracts in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Travel or local options available, with dependable support, competitive pay, and benefits designed to support your career goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics or another natural science
- Master's Degree in Physics, Medical Physics, or a related field
- Current Medical Physicist Certification in Wisconsin
- BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1-year as a Physicist
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel
Medical Physicist Contract Details:
- $7,400 - $7,566 per week*
- 20-week contract with possibility of extension
- Hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Physicists will plan radiation treatments for cancer patients
- Medical Physicists will study how radiation affects the body
- Medical Physicists may be asked to develop new safety procedures, ensure equipment is safe, effective and working properly, and research new treatment options for cancer, heart disease, or mental illness.
