Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN Position

Shift Details

• Preference for 36 hours per week • Schedule options: 4x10 or 3x12 hours (7am-5:30pm or 7am-7:30pm) • Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

Unit Overview

• Inpatient and outpatient procedural labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients for the upstate New York region • 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs caring for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of patient conditions • Comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care holding area • Practice model rich with RN staff with CVT collaboration focusing on excellent patient outcome and satisfaction

Required Experience & Certifications

• 2 years Cath Lab Experience • BLS (AHA) • ACLS (AHA) • Moderate sedation trained • Dysrhythmia • Telemetry • RN License (NY License ONLY)

MUST HAVE Experience

• TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen • Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever • Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo and LVAD • Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty and ASA • Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required

Nice to Have

• Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred • Familiar with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment • EP Lab Experience
