The Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing coveragefor the general welfare and safety of the shelter residents, staff, andvolunteers.

Minimum Requirements:  

• Minimum two years of experience working in a residentialfacility, preferably experience working with individuals currently, orformerly, experiencing homelessness, mental health and substance abuse issues,and some supervisory experience
• Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively both written and oral
• Ability to handle and prevent crisis situations with minimalsupervision
• Must have some computer skills and be able to formulateincident reports
• Ability to work with clientele that have special needs andprovide assistance with respect and compassion
• Help to foster and to promote a positive and harmoniousatmosphere at the shelter
• First aid and CPR/AED certified a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
