Position Details:

Pay Rate: $25 (Pay will increase to $26 once staff work 6 months)

Opening: Days (7a-3:30p), 5x8s EOW, 40hrs

Contract Length: 4, 6, 8, or 13 Weeks

Start Date: 1/5/2026

Overtime: Time and a half

Additional Notes: The facility has rooms available for $15/night

The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.  The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs avariety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing,feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessaryin caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patientpopulation. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required 
• Experience with memory care patients, preferred 
• Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience asa certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
• Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification andhaving the ability to be work with geriatrics per state requirements. •Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.  
• Current CPR 
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
