As a professional practitioner, the RN Med Surg/Telemetry  assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN – Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision.  The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care, and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

TRAVEL PAY: $3,052 weekly includes housing & meals

• Contract Details:

  • Start Date: 1/12/26
  • 13-week contract
  • 48 hours/week
  • Night shift: 4x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required (as scheduled)
  • Floating: Required within specialty and lower acuity units
  • On-Call: Not required

• Experience & Traveler Info:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • MD RN license or Compact
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI

• Patient Population:

  • Age Range: Adult & Geriatric
  • Ratio: 1:5
  • Common Diagnoses:
    • General Med-Surg population
    • CHF, Chest Pain
    • Cellulitis, Osteomyelitis
    • Pancreatitis
    • Post-amputations
    • Small bowel obstruction
    • Afib/Dysrhythmias
    • Cancer, Palliative care

• Special Procedures & Unit Details:

  • EKGs
  • Drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Lasix
    (Not titratable within a parameter)
  • Special Equipment:
    Tele monitors, IV pumps, O2 monitoring, Pulse oximeter, VS machine, SCDs, bed/chair alarms, chest tubes, Foleys
