The Registered Nurse – NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse – NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year NICU experience required
• NRP card per contract requirement
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Assignment Details:

• Start Dates: 01/19 & 02/05
• Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (36 hours/week ONLY)
• Trauma Level: III
• Beds: 581
• Charting System: Cerner
• Weekly Pay: $3,157
  • Includes $1,680 taxable income + $1,477 stipends

Requirements:

• Active CA RN License
• BLS & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum 1 year recent NICU experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Must live 150+ miles away
• COVID vaccinated
