The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments.  In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments.  In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.

Oncology RN - Coordinator

Requirements:

• CA RN License
• 3+ years of Outpatient Oncology RN experience coordinating care
• Experience screening patients over the phone for symptoms
• BLS
• EPIC experience
• Travel RN experience

Details:

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 26 weeks, possible extensions

Shift: Days

Hours: 4x10's, 40 hours/week

Requirements: 

• CA RN License

• Travel RN experience

Pay Rate: $3,154/week = $1,166 (hourly) + $1,988 (stipends)
