Amergis is currently seeking experienced Pediatric PACU RNs for TRAVEL assignments in Boston, MA !

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 wks

Number of Openings: 6

Start Date: 4/12

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: Days 40 hrs/wk (4x10s) available!

40 hours/week 10-hour day or early evening shifts rotating start times as listed Mon-Fri

No weekend or holiday requirement, but weekend hours optional (to support candidate time off requests).

Hospital
EMR: Cerner- Moving to EPIC in June. EPIC exp preferred.

Requirements

2+ years of pediatric PACU or peds ICU
BLS, PALS

The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.

Minimum Requirements:

Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
